Why we're doing this
Cause Software, PBC is a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation. Our charter binds us to public benefit forever — the asymmetry between commercial-rate pricing and free-for-501(c)(3) is the point. The premium tier funds the open core; the free tier funds the cause.

Who qualifies
LSC grantees, state legal-aid programs, low-income legal services. If you're funded as a 501(c)(3) and your client base is at or below 200% of the federal poverty line, you qualify.
State and county public-defender offices, state appellate defenders, juvenile defenders. You don't need a 501(c)(3) determination — statutory public-defender status qualifies.
NAACP LDF, ACLU affiliates, Lambda Legal, MALDEF, NWLC, regional civil-rights centers. Impact-litigation work that fights structural discrimination, voting rights, employment discrimination, criminal-justice reform.

The premium tier is funded by commercial law firms paying market rate. Your access is funded by them — that's the design.

No long form. We need enough to verify you qualify and right-size onboarding. Annual benefit report will publish how many orgs were served and on what cases — that's the accountability loop.
